      I was nervous that the special edition might be too flashy, but the foil-stamped cover is actually gorgeous and really sets the mood. The monster lore entries are surprisingly deep, giving you enough to build entire story arcs around a single creature. This is going straight onto my gaming table for

      The leather-like cover feels sturdy enough for regular table use, and flipping through the 20 mythic creatures, the lore entries are exactly the depth I wanted for campaign planning. Only gripe is the binding creaks a bit when opened fully, but that's a minor thing for a book this dense.
