The player boards have multiple layers for tracking resources and influence, which kept everything organized even with four of us competing. Setup took a bit to figure out the first time, but once we got going the faction abilities made every game feel different.

The solo mode actually surprised me, it's not tacked on like most board game afterthoughts. Setup still eats a solid chunk of table space but the faction sheets keep everything organized once you're rolling.

The asymmetric faction powers make every game play out differently, and the dice-placement mechanic keeps everyone engaged even when it's not their turn. Setup took a bit longer than I expected the first time, but once we got going the turns flew by.
