Daggerheart RPG: Core Set

The core rules are surprisingly easy to pick up, but the character options have enough depth to keep my group planning new builds for weeks. We’ve already run three sessions and the tone really does flex to fit our chaotic, heartfelt style.

The production quality is solid and the rulebook layout is readable, but the "easy to learn" claim feels a bit oversold once you hit the mid-game character options. It's a decent set for a group that likes tinkering, though I wouldn't call it a grab-and-go pickup for a casual night.
