Thinning it with a little water gives such a smooth, even finish straight over the base coat. The opacity is spot on for a layer paint, and it dries to a nice matte that takes highlights really well.

Finally a bone color that actually covers in one coat over my base without turning chalky. It flows on smooth and dries with that perfect matte finish that takes washes really well.
