I've been using this Blue Horror over a grey base and the coverage is impressively smooth right from the first thin coat. The paint stays workable long enough to blend edges nicely before it dries. It gives my miniatures a nice subtle highlight without looking chalky.

Blue Horror layers on smoothly right out of the pot, and the coverage over a darker base is surprisingly solid for a light shade. It took two thin coats to get the glow I wanted, but the consistency means no chalky streaks.
