Category: Paint

A line of paints for miniatures, formulated by Privateer Press:

  • Known for a wide range of desaturated colors, which can be hard to find in wargaming paint ranges.
  • With an extended drying time, you can blend and mix paints without fear of wasting your paint or employing retardants or flow extenders.
  • Wear Resistant: The formula dries to a hard and satin finish resistant to chipping. You needn't fear handling your finished miniatures.
  • Liquid Pigment: Unlike many other paints, Formula P3 uses liquid pigments. It never separates when thinned, and retains brightness after thinning and drying.
  • Superior Coverage: Formula P3 often covers, even over black, in a single coat.

Comes in an 18ml flip-top pot.

The desaturated tone is exactly what I needed for shading warm armor, and it blends smoothly over a wet palette. The longer dry time meant I could fix mistakes without rushing, which is a plus for someone like me who paints at a glacial pace. It's a solid gold that doesn't look cartoonish, just wish
