Players assume the roles of Casters: their decks representing Spellbooks from which they cast powerful Spells, summon ancient Artifacts, and form Contracts with the beloved Cryptids to aid them in the Arena.

Be wary of your surroundings though, the environment around the Arena has the potential to strengthen your Beasties.

        John I. ★★★★★

The artwork on the spell cards is incredibly detailed, really brings the cryptids to life. I've already played several matches and the contract mechanic adds a fun strategic layer. Took a bit to learn the rules, but it's a solid game once you get going.

        Claire ★★★★☆

The deck-building feels tight with the Contract mechanic—pairing Cryptids with spells gives it a lot of combo potential. Card stock is decent, though I wish the rulebook on the back was clearer for first-timers.
