The brush-on application is so much easier than masking or spraying for edge protection, and one thin coat leaves a matte finish that doesn't dull the colors underneath. My tournament army has survived three full weekends of handling without a single scrape showing through.

I’ve been worried about chipping on my display pieces after handling, but this Stormshield varnish seals the paint job really well—the 24ml pot will last me through plenty of projects.
