Took me two tanks of paint to get the hang of holding it at the right angle, but now the scale and flame patterns come out clean every time. The polymer coating really holds up against my solvent-based paints, no softening or gumming at all.

The carbon fiber template holds its edge way better than the plastic ones I used before, no fuzzy overspray even with solvent-based paint. I've been using it for skull and flame details on helmets and the laser cut lines are crazy clean. Finally a stencil that doesn't warp after a few cleaning sessi

The laser cut edges on these give a much crisper flame pattern than my old freehand masks. Only gripe is the carbon fiber is stiff, so it doesn't hug curved panels as well. Still, the solvent resistant coating has held up fine after several cleanups.
