We've played this three times in one evening and it just clicks. The gem-token economy is so tight that every turn feels like a meaningful choice, and the way you chain nobles into your engine is genuinely satisfying. Even the box layout for the tokens makes setup a breeze.

My group picked up the rules in less than five minutes, and the gem tokens add a satisfying tactile element that makes each turn feel deliberate. The engine-building mechanic really shines once you start chaining those noble bonuses together.

The gem chips feel great in your hand and the rules really do click after one round, so we played three games back to back without checking the manual again. Works just as well with two players as it does with four, which is rare for this kind of game.
