The bristles have just the right stiffness for drybrushing without scratching the base coat. I've used it on a bunch of miniatures and the wear is barely noticeable so far.

The ox-hair and synthetic blend holds its shape way better than the cheap craft brushes I used to grab. Flat head picks up just enough paint to catch the edges without flooding the details. Been using it on rivets and trim for a few weeks now and the bristles haven't splayed at all.
