        Took about a minute to get the brass machine gun barrel to that dark, aged look the instructions wanted, no fuss at all. The new formula is definitely quicker than the older stuff I've used, and the price makes it way easier to just keep a bottle on the bench.

        The liquid darkened my brass parts okay, but I found the finish a bit uneven if you don’t shake it really well first. It works fine for the price, though I expected it to be a little more consistent straight out of the bottle.
